Treviso | VI century walls (Mura Cinquecentesche)

In Roman times the city was equipped with walls, but current date back to the sixteenth century when the Republic of Venice commissioned at first to Fra 'Giocondo and than to Bartolomeo D'Alviano, to equip Treviso with town walls, almost four kilometers long to improve the defense.
