The Buranelli Canal is a waterway that is born from a branch of Botteniga. Front channel is the house belonged to the poet Giovanni Comisso, the other side of the walkway is a sixteenth-century building once home and warehouse of traders from the lagoon island of Burano: hence the best known name of the channel. After a short distance the channel disappears under a low building with four arches, almost a covered bridge, behind which passes via Palestro.
