Lughignano | Barbaro - Gabbianelli’s family venetian villa

It’s the oldest villa on the river coast and it was built at the end of the 1400 commissioned by Caterina Cornaro, the Cipro’s queen. It was a wedding gift to Fiammetta, her favourite damsel. The villa is a typical example of venetian villas: it’s a gotic square map with the facade aim to the river. It’s a portico with 5 arch on the first floor and it has a four-light window at the second floor .
