Oasi Cervara | The Heart of the Sile Park

Oasi Naturalistica del Mulino Cervara is a nature reserve that protects a marsh environment of exceptional beauty.

The Cervara Swamp covers 25 hectares (250,000 square meters) and is one of the main access points to the Sile River Regional Natural Park. The Oasis is located in S.ta Cristina di Quinto di Treviso and has the shape of an island sandwiched between the courses of the Sile River and the Piovega stream.Within it are numerous springs fed by resurgent waters that contribute to the life of the course of the Sile. The Cervara Oasis is a biotope of high naturalistic value included by the Veneto Region in the Natura 2000 Network as a Site of Community Interest (SCI) and Special Protection Area (SPA) for the refuge of wildlife and the conservation of the wild flora of the Sile.
