Noventa di Piave | Floodgate Tunnel

The Piave Tunnel is a historic passageway in Noventa, built in the mid-19th century by the Austrians to connect the town centre to the port on the Piave River. For years, it was the main access route for those arriving by river. Today, it is a symbol of the local community, and although it is closed during floods for safety reasons, the municipality protects its historical value and identity.
